Lush Goodies arrived today :)

Hey girlies,

I was so excited to come home today and see that my Lush package was delivered today.. I am so excited and it came just in time because tomorrow is the day i leave for a lovely getaway to the USA and Hawaii... ahhh heaven ! I mostly placed my order for the skin products because my skin has been playing up on me lately, it feels so congested and its dry in certain spots and its just not how it should be and usually is, so i thought that maybe organic is the way to go so i found myself drawn to the lush online store..

So heres what i found on my front door step this afternoon..

Ultrabland cleanser: "With an almond oil oil-base, this cream cleanser takes off make-up and leaves your skin nourished. It’s gentle, but the deeply cleansing oils reach down and remove stubborn dirt and makeup. Rose, beeswax and honey soothe and moisturise the skin. Cleanse each night, then remove with a warm cloth and your skin will feel soft and smooth without any scrubbing at all. It’s Ultra Bland and ultra effective"

Breath Of Fresh Air toner: "Softening toner to soothe and revitalise the skin. Breath of Fresh Air is one of our seaside products, inspired by the Dorset beach coastline. You don’t have to live by the sea to appreciate it; all you have to do is get up in the morning! Sea water is full of mineral salts. Breath of Fresh Air makes your skin feel extra fresh and healthy because we add soothing aloe vera gel, rejuvenating rosemary and calming rose. Use it after cleansing, or refresh yourself at any time of day"

I forgot to take a photo of this one !
Skin Drink moisturiser: "Rich moisturiser to refresh and rehydrate parched skin. This is our rich, thick cream to turn rough, dry skin into soft, supple skin for as long as you continue to use it. A delicious blend of sesame, almond and evening primrose oils to moisturise, organic avocado to soften and nourish and calming rose oil, all mixed up in soothing aloe vera. This is an impressive, rehydrating cream. Give thirsty skin the drink it needs"

Dream Cream Moisturiser: "Incredibly soothing body lotion for troubled skin. Dream Cream is Lush’s best-selling product because it makes sore skin feel good again. Chamomile and lavender calm irritations, reduce redness and banish blotches. We also use oat milk, too, which has traditionally been used on troubled skin for centuries. It contains everything nature makes for soothing your skin"

Charity Pot Moisturiser: I wanted this but i got 4 small samples instead so i can pack them in my travel makeup case so i can always have one handy whether it be hands or dry skin on my face.
"Our hand and body lotion is made with skin-softening cocoa butter and almond oil to make your skin feel lovely, and it has a scent you’ll want to sniff all day long. Every penny that you pay for it - excluding the GST, will go into our Lush Charity Pot Fund, which is then given to the various organisations we support. Each pot has a label on it telling you a little story about one of the charities, good causes, and hand-picked groups that we have supported"

Lip Service lipblam: "Our original super-softener. We've been making Lip Service for almost a decade and it is still hugely popular because it works so well at making lips, heels, toes, cuticles and elbows soft. It has a magical mixture of effective oils and butters, plus tangerine oil for tone and a bit of taste. For cracked, rough lips always choose this one first; once you've sorted yourself out you can move on to the others"

Jasmin & Henna Fluff-ease: "Smoothing and softening the fluffiest locks. Ease your fluff with our supremely calming, jasmine-scented, pre-wash conditioner. Almond oil is smoothing and the blend of essential oils will de-tangle hair that's become troublesome and difficult. If you suffer from tangled and frizzy hair, this one's especially for you"

They also sent me three free samples which was exciting:

Honey i washed the kids soap: "The irresistible toffee and honey soap. Once you've sniffed it, you've got to have it. On paper, it's difficult to portray the full effect of this honeycomb and toffee scented soap. People who fully intended to walk past a Lush shop find themselves unable to resist its tempting fragrance. They inhale, drool, pick up a big chunk and join the queue for the till. It's hard not to buzz about this one"

Sandstone soap: "The exfoliating citrus and sandy one. On the glorious beaches of Rio de Janeiro, stunning Brazilian babes, and their mothers, mix up tanning oil with the fine sand and scrub their backsides to make them as smooth as silk. Sandstone soap has a layer of sand and the seductive scent of a caipirinha cocktail"

Q10 Toner Tab: "They developed the skin soothing Q10 for men, specifically for after shaving, for the modern chap who likes to take care of his skin. Women can use it too, all over after shaving, waxing, sugaring or anything else that makes your skin sore. Another of the inspirations was a request from our Japanese team, who loved the idea of using co-enzyme Q10 in skincare. Q10 is sometimes called a vitamin, but technically it’s not; it’s an anti-oxidant. The medical evidence says that Q10 supplements have been shown to increase sperm mobility!  In each tab we’ve got aloe vera that rehydrates when it hits the water, to help soothe your shaved skin and keep redness under control. We add lavender from the perfume fields of southern France and soothing sandalwood; they calm your mind as well as your skin, to help you avoid shaving cuts"

Have you tried any of these products and what did you think? Whats your fave lush product?

Favourite Everyday Lipsticks

Hey guys,

Im currently obsessed with lipstick so i put together a quick list of my favourite lipsticks that i reach for on a daily basis. I was trying to narrow it down to a list of 10 but i managed to get as close as 11 which i think is a good effort !

From left to right: Revlon Colourstay in Soft nude, Australis Colour Inject Mineral in Jive, MAC Blankety, Bourjois Doctuer Glamour in Rose Retabli, NYX Rea

Left to right: NYX Strawberry Milk, MAC Viva Glam Gaga, Rimmel Pink Fame, Rimmel Kiss Me, Australis Colour Inject Mineral in Salsa, Australis Colour Inject Mineral in Flamenco

Bacon Perfume ?!!

Hey all,

A perfume that smells like bacon ? Yep for just $36, you can get yourself your very own perfume that has a bacon scent while stocks last. I dont know how i feel about this but at the same time i love bacon but spraying the scent on my body just seems a little whacky. But on the other hand, im really curious and have decided that i must order myself a bottle. Or maybe its just because i love bacon and the idea of bacon itself makes my mouth water lol so maybe, the perfume will smell as delish as the actual thing.

The perfume is called Bacon by Farginnay and the reviews on the website mostly say that people are surprised about the beautiful scent and that its a soft yummy scent.

The website, http://www.fargginay.com/ states that it all began in, "The year was 1920 and quite by accident John Fargginay, a Parisian butcher discovered the ability to dramatically elevate his customers' mood with a secret recipe blending 11 popular pure essential oils with the essence of...bacon."

The fragrance is available in Bacon Classic and Bacon Gold and both are unisex perfumes. Absolute exciting craziness in my opinion. Each scent has 11 essential oils and all batches are handmade and ingredients are not available every season so you better hope that you dont miss out on the batch.

The product description of Bacon classic is as follows, "bacōn Classic is designed for men and women.  A common question, does this fragrance really smell like bacon?  The answer is yes & no.  Our Classic formula is a sophisticated spicy maple fragrance with just a hint of bacon and the fun… is in finding it.  This artisanal Classic formula is lovingly crafted with the pure essential oil blend of bergamot, orange, lime, grapefruit, black pepper, cedar wood, vetiver, guaiacwood and two pinches of Bacon salty goodness.  What on earth could you be waiting for?  Available while supplies last."

And bacon gold, "bacōn Gold is designed for women & men.  A common question, does this fragrance really smell like bacon?  The answer is yes & no.  Our Gold formula offers a memorable sizzling citrus aroma with an ever so slight hint of bacon and the fun… is in finding it.  This artisanal Gold formula is lovingly crafted with a pure essential oil blend of mandarin, bergamot, grapefruit, lemon, nutmeg, pimento berry, black pepper & a touch of sweet, a smidgen of savory, and one pinch of Bacon salty goodness.  What are you waiting for?  Available while supplies last"

What do you guys reckon ? Would you happily spritz your body with bacon ?

Daily Haircare Routine

Hey everyone,

I am one of those people that breaks the two most important rules when it comes to haircare:

  1. I wash my hair daily
  2. I brush my hair in the shower and after my shower, with a normal hair brush
I wash my hair daily because i feel dirty if i dont and if i was to wash my hair every second day, its impossible to style it on the second day and my hair just becomes one huge flop and an oil build up begins, so it makes my life that much easier to just wash it daily.

The washing part of things i dont mind, i like shampooing my hair and giving my scalp a quick massage while im at it but the hair drying side of things is what really begins to annoy me ! But not to get too ahead myself, i must say, i have become quite a pro at a super quick 10 minute completely dry blowdry styled straight with a little body.  This way, when i wake up in the morning, all i have to do is run my fingers through my hair and im out the door because i wash my hair every night because if i had to do this in the morning, it would never happen because i usually sleep until the last minute that i can, i am far from a morning person !

A quick tip to a faster blowdry when styling your hair straight is to use a normal paddle brush instead of a round blowdrying brush. I learnt this on an episode of Jerseylicious, when Tracey was working on hair for fashion week.. And i must say, it seriously works because i used to spend about 20-25 minutes trying to blowdry my long thick hair straight and now the time is cut by half ! Another reason why i love reality trashy tv, they sometimes prove to be useful to my life :) I use the same lady jayne one which is pictured below.

So everyday after i wash my hair i apply three products to it after i have towel dired it quite well.. Thats another thing i probably do wrong, i smoosh my hair altogether and rub it vigorously when towel drying !

First i spritz my hair with Sunsilk Leave in Coniditoning Mist which cares and de-tangles and claims to make your hair 'fresher for longer'. I love this product because even if i have to choose one thing only to put in my hair this would be it. It detangles and smells fresh and coniditons and does everything an all rounder hair product should do, and has a very attractive price tag of about $6.

Secondly I apply a tiny little blob of Normal Balance Leave in Treatment from the Shwarzkopf Extra Care Hair Repair Range. I apply this though the middle to the ends of my hair and it really locks in moisture and helps style my ends to look neat when i blowdry my hair and i noticed that it really protects my hair from split ends and heat damage. I purchased this for $11.95.

And last i apply PPS Colourwear Colour Lock Survival Foam. This is a mousse type product which i apply from my roots to my ends and it locks in my colour and makes my hair colour really stand out and gives my hair the most gorgeous shine and makes my hair look extremely healthy and ive noticed that since i started using this, i have recieved compliments on how shiny and healthy my hair looks, so this is definately a product which i will keep repurchasing. These are originally $19.95 but i picked it up on sale for $5, so i bought two of them incase i loved it and lucky i did !

This is basically all i use. At the moment my hairdryer is a Tresemme  Professional for Phillips which my mum bought from Target for me like years ago for about $40 and the heat which is reaches is amazing and the most important thing is that it comes with an awesome nozzle which also helps for a quicker and smoother blowdry. It is 2000 Watts with an AC motorCeramic element which is very important to not damage your hair too much.

Im disappointed: Revlon Smoked Peach Lipstick

Hey girls,

I bought this lipstick a few weeks ago and i love all Revlon lipsticks, whether matte or glossy or whatever finish, ive just always loved their staying power and their colour range which is hugeee ! Ive been quite into new lipsticks lately, ive even began to put my makeup on around my lipsticks..

For the past year or so, all i really wore was nude lipsticks or id just pat a little concealer on my lips and just swipe of lipgloss on top was all i needed, but these days, ive been buying reds and pinks and dark reds and peaches and purples and everything but nude. I was searching for a pretty peachy colour and i thought i found it when i picked up Revlons Matte Super Lustrous Lipstick in Smoked Peach.

The swatch looked beautiful on my hand and i swore that i would wear this every day until i got home and tried it on my lips... It was hideous, it makes me look washed out and the colour does nothing for me what so ever.. All i wanna know is whyyy doesnt it suit me !!! Im a little devastated because i got my hopes up thinking id found the perfect peachy lipstick in a matte form, with the most perfect formula..

So now i need help, tell me, what is your favourite peachy matte lipstick ?? Because it looks like im going to have to start expanding my horizon and start searching for a new peach lippie

Nail of the day: OPI Malaysian Mist

Hey guys,

Ive never done a 'nail of the day' post before, but i just painted my nails in my most favourite/ perfect nude colour ever by OPI in the shade Malaysian Mist. Its a lovely light pinky beige tone and its one of those colours that would look good on anyone.. However, my nails are still wet and looking at the photo, i think i will need to apply a third coat because i made them quite thin so i could hurry up and give my hands some TLC but on a normal day, two normal codes are perfect.

Ive been going for darker colours as we are in our winter months (see my winter shopping list here) in Australia, but i looked down at my hands before and saw just how dry and ugly my hands were looking with rough skin and just very unpleasant. I thought that painting them a nude colour would make my hands look alot neater, and after i finish this post, im off to do a quick hand scrub and some intense moisturising with some cuticle cream to get my hands back to tip top shape.

What is your favourite nude colour from OPI ? I feel as though it took me ages to find this one and i know OPI has a huge selection of nudes in their collection..

Australis Colour Inject Lipstick

Hey all,

Lately ive been playing around with a few Australis lipsticks because i am obsessed with their colour range ! i want every single colour from the range because what i have noticed is that they are all quite universal colours that can warm to most skin tones and suit most complexions which is a big plus ! Ive decided to do a quick review on my favourite colour from the range in the shade 'Salsa'. Its a fresh summer toned lipstick which is a mix between a bright coral and pink and its just really pretty.

The application of the lipstick is quite smooth and easy to apply, and they are an absolute bargain at about $10 mark ! The lipstick applies with a gloss in the formula but once it starts to wear away, the gloss disappears but the lip colour still remains which is good because you can wait a little longer before a touch up is necessary.

Get your hands on these lipsticks at your local Target, Priceline, Big W or Kmart... At this price, youd be silly not to atleast have a browse

Bourjois Eyeshadow

Hey guys,

As i was shopping the other day, i tried to stay clear of the makeup section, trying to save some extra holiday cash but i couldnt help myself but to quickly have a look around for the perfect lilac/lavender/purple eyeshadow. Ive been looking for one for a while and none of them that i have purchased have been the perfect tone of purple until i found the Bourjois individual baked eyeshadow range, which i never knew actually existed because ive always thought that Bourjois is over priced. However when i saw this pretty colour i just had to get my hot little hands on it ! I got the shadow in number 72- ombre a paupieres.

When i got home i started to play around with it and i realised that the $28 price tag which was attached to it, did not necessarily mean super pigmentation or staying power. The first swipe of my finger across the shadow barely picked up anything and i had to really rub my finger in it to pick up some colour. So then i tried to use the shadow wet by slightly dampening a brush and then applying it onto my lid and that just caused it to crumble off and fall into my eye. I tried again with a primer first and then some shadow but even that didnt really work.

Ive come to the conclusion that im officially done with the Bourjois eyeshadow range, and im a little uoset that this pretty colour will be pushed to the back of the eyeshadow drawer because its really not a good shadow. Ive never tried the other eyeshadows by the same brand, maybe its just the baked ones that proved to be a dud ?!

Let me know your thoughts on these if you have tried them..

Maybelline Designer Chocolate Quad

Hey guys,
My daily makeup is usually quite neutral, just really standard and quite boring actually- it consists of the standard foundation, concealer if needed, pressed powder, bronzer, mascara and sometimes just some pencil liner. And on days where im off to uni, I tend to go for the option of tinted moisturiser with a ballerina bun on the top of my head and im out the door.
But cause im finished with uni now, im out and about every day so ive started to put a little more time into my makeup and have started to include some eyeshadow in my daily makeup routine if im not in too much of a rush (im one of those people who would rather sleep the extra 10 minutes instead of getting up 10 minutes earlier to make my life that little bit more simpler lol)
So lately ive been reaching for my Maybelline Quad in Designer Chocolate which I am seriously in love with !! It has the most gorgeous four colours that compliment every skin tone id say, and every time ive worn these ive been complimented on how pretty my eyes look.
I just realised that I don’t actually own any shadows by Maybelline as I always thought they weren’t pigmented but these are super pigmented and I even bought an extra one for my makeup kit and used the lightest colour from the palette as a highlight colour for makeup that I did at a wedding the other week on all three bridesmaids and it did not budge all night !

Ive probably worn these every day for the past two weeks, with or without a primer and even without a primer, they still stay put and the pigmentation is great. I have been applying it the same way every day, by using the cute little picture guide on the back of the palette as this palette has the words, ‘brow bone’, ‘lid’, ‘crease’ and ‘outer corner’ engraved into each separate shadow so you know exactly where to place each colour, which is great for beginners of makeup and with a $17 price tag attached to it, id say it’s a bargain for pretty good quality stuff ! Yay to Maybelline on these cute little quads. Ill be definitely going back to suss out the rest of the colour range, I wanna get my hands on a smokey eye one if it exists.

Have you guys tried these ? Let me know what you thought and what colour palette should I look out for ?
P.S I just realised ive rambled on about how pigmented these are but I didn’t take a photo of any swatches.. ill try get these up asap ! (my excuse is that its after midnight and I should be sleeping, so my brain must be falling asleep)

Its getting close !!!

Hey guys,

So ill be leaving for america in about 14 days now and im all over the place doing all my shoopping and stuff now before it gets too last minute, because i know what im like and i will probably have heart failure and freak out at that point.

I never realised how much junk im actually dependant on, on a daily basis and how many things you need just to make one thing work.. like for a camera, you need the camera, a memory card, a case, a charger and an international plug ! Thats like half my suitcase filled up right there ! And what im actually freaking out about the most is what im going to stash in my beauty bag, which im trying to keep to an absolute minimum so i figure imgoing to shop around for things that have two in one purposes, like a lip and cheek tint so i can have one thing and two uses which will hopefully minimise how many things ill be taking.

But because i am the way that i am, i believe that i need to take everything and i mean everything !! I dont believe that just a shampoo and conditioner is sufficient, i need to bring my leave in hair treatment, a detangling spray and a heat protectant spray and like three round brushes for a blowdry and a hair straightener and hairdryer and a curling iron, and oh my goodness im getting flustered just thinking about it lol like who needs all this stuff for a few weeks away !! I do. Suzie. Me ! I need it all !!!!!

Because i know its impossible to bring everything, ive decided to buy little travel bottles and put some product in them so i can have the best of both worlds when it comes to hair, and as far as packing makeup, i guess ill find the room the stash them somewhere and wouldnt it be a shame if i had to buy a whole new bunch while im in new york haha

So on my absolute necessities list i have:

1. ipod: its multifunctional for plane rides and the beach and i have to have it
2. Huge sunglasses: just to hide half my face for the days that ill be too tired to wear eye makeup and ill still look half decent in photos haha
3. Hairdryer: just because !
4. Hair straighetner: another just because ! No questions should be asked
5. HD foundation: ill have these photos for the rest of my life so i want flawless looking skin
6. Mini Travel Brush Set: theres no point in taking makeup if you have nothing to apply it with
7. Summery Smelling Body Butter: something fruity and florally which smells delish. You need to take care of your skin in warmer climates especially if you plan on baking in the sun all day.
8. Sunscreen: because sunburn hurts and red tan lines are hideous !
9. Face Primer: if your out and about all day, you dont want your face to slip and slide
10. Your favourites makeup product ever that you cant go anywhere without: my NP Set liquid eyeliner, I believe it was love at first swipe :)

Ill be uploading photos of what ill pack in my beauty department of my suitcase when i start packing it and hopefully ill be a good girll and will only pack necessities..

So tell me, what are your travel necessities ?? Post me a comment below..

Until next time,

NP Set Pretty Presto Palette

Hey all,

You all need to get your hands on this palette from Napoleon Set in Pretty Presto. It is extremely cute and its the perfect thing you need for a short trip away or even for every day use.

The main reason i actually purchased this was because the blush that is in there is the mst beautiful bright coral which compliments my skin tone so well, which was part of Napoleons holiday set about two years ago and now i finished that blush and couldnt find a replacement until i saw this little palette.

The palette has two eyeshadows which suit every skin tone. It has a gorgeous deep gold shade and a bronze shadow and i love the quality of these and they are long lasting even without a primer. The palette comes with a little baby mascara stick which is seriously too cute and it comes with a baby lipgloss in a neutral colour which is also perfect for all skin tones.

This palette has a price tag of $28 and is worth the money, well i think so anyway ! This can be purchased from Target or any Napoleon store. They have a whole range of mini palettes like this and i wanna get my hands on every single one of them. What i dont like is that the palettes dont actually come with any little applicators or anything even though i dont personally use them myself, im sure there is people out there who do..

Let me know what you guys think of NP set products, cause i know alot of people still havnt really tried them.

Chi Chi Eyeshadow Review

Hey guys !

Today i will be reviweing the Chi Chi single eyeshadow range and i always see Chi Chi and browse their products but ive never actually bought anything from there until the other week.

I picked up three eyeshaddows in the colours, 'dont pimp my style' which is a vibrant deep purple which kind of reminds me of cadbury purple, 'carribean lover' which is a beautiful teal with golden undertones and 'show me the money' which is a beautiful vibrant green.

From left to right- dont pimp my style, show me the money, carribean lover (my personal fave)

They are soo pigmented, these swatches are just one swipe of each shadow and im really impressed with them. I wore carribean lover over the weekend and i must say im pretty impressed with the staying power because they lasted all night. The texture of these feel a little grainy, but it doesnt really effect the staying power of the shadow which is always a good thing.

Overall, i do like them, i wouldnt say love, but i do like them and will continue to use them. I guess i just prefer a silky feeling shadow. The only reason id probably repurchase would be because of the crazy colour range that they have available. I am a sucker for the cute packaging, everything in their range is so cute and sleek looking !

Have you tried these ? Did yours feel grainy too ? Let me know your thoughts..

Review: Toni and Guy Moisture Injection Shampoo and Conditioner

Hey all,

About six weeks ago i was at work when i noticed that we were selling Toni and Guy Moisture Injection Shampoo and Conditioner for $4.87 a bottle !!! Obviously i had to buy them and i have never ever used a better shampoo and conitioner in my life..

This shampoo was one of those extra lathering shampoos where you can feel your hair becoming cleaner as soon as you rub it in, as stupid as that sounds loll.. And the coniditoner is so soft feeling and makes your hair smell so nice and everytime i use it i just wanna keep running my fingers through my hair because it feels so soft and silky. Ive noticed that this new combo just makes my hair so manageable and i have less fly aways and my hair just feels so much prettier and healthier.

I must say i give this a 10/10 and i currently have it on my shopping list to repurchase ansd stock up on them because im having a strange feeling that they could possibly be discontinuing this holy grail in shampoo and conditioner !!

Let me know if youve tried this and if your from Sydney please let me know if youve spotted these little babies somewhere..

Top 5 Beauty Products !!

Hey everyone,

This is like the hardest post ive done, or even had to think about. Trying to pick just 5 out of the billion favourite products i have was a mission, so ive nailed it down to my 5 most favourite products that i use daily...

1. Model Co 3 in 1 Splash Foundation, in the colour Shore: I love this foundation, its one of those convenient products because once you put your foundation on that leaves your skin nice and dewy, once you pop open the lid, it has a little pot of concealer ! Too cute, im a sucker for packaging !

2. Australis Duo Blush and Contour in Rosy Bronze: This is great because one side is a blusher and one side is a contour colour so its another two in one, which convenient with really good pigmentation. Some times i cheat and use these as eyeshaddows too :)

3. Revlon Colourburst Lipstick in Soft Nude: This is a perfect nude lipstick which i have 3 of and i carry one with me at all times. It matches all makeup at any time of the day. I lovee it !

4. Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara: This is hands down my favourite mascara ever and it looks like your wearing fake lashes when your not. I like it cause its a buildable mascara which can go from natural to dramatic without all the clumping.

5. NP Set Eyeshaddow palette in new neutrals: is the most perfect eye palette for an everyday neutral eye.

What are your 5 favourite products ? Let me know if your decision was as hard as mine..

Winter Skincare :)

Hey all,

I have been missing in action for the longest time but im backk !! Ive been so sick for the past week or so and i just cant get rid of this flu and i am blowing my nose as i write this ! I havnt been sick for a while now, probably since last winter, which is a good thing but ive actually noticed how much the flu has actually affected my whole body. Ive began my winter skin care ritual because the cold weather has just come out of nowhere and i cant keep up with my ugly dry hands and chapped lips so ive put myself into a little routine so i can stop myself from freaking out about how dry my skin is getting..

While ive been sick, my body has been craving what i think is vitamin c lol because everytime im sick i feel as though i cant drink enough orange juice and just plain water.. which is actually a good thing caiuse im one of those people that doesnt drink heaps of water and i barely ever eat fruit because i just dont like fruit (as weird as this may sound lol). So mandarines, orange juice and water has been what ive been reaching for in the last few days.

My lips become extremely chapped throughout the winter months which i hate because then when i go to apply a lipstick, it just doesnt sit right and it looks all gooey and uneven and i just get so frustrated because i tend to chew on my dry lips and i think i irritate them further so my winter time lip resolution is... exfoliating and applying a  lip balm (about a billion times a day). I picked up the bubblegum lip scrub by lush a while ago but never really used it until now and i lovee it.. Not only does it taste so yum and smell like heaven, it actually does what it claims and leaves your lips so nice and soft. And along with my lip scrubbing ive been reaching for one of my three berts bees lipbalms in either the normal formula, honey or poemgranate). The pomegranate is my personal fave cause it gives a bit of a red tinge to my lips so thats the one i carry everywhere with me in my hand bag. The honey one stays next to my bed and the normal formula one tends to float around the house depending on where i am. I bought these in a 3 pack from myer for about $10 the the post christmas myer sales and i loveee them and they came in the cutest little tin ive seen in my life (im a sucker for packaging).

My face has actually been the biggest problem of all ! I have an oily T zone and super dry patches all over my face. The area on the sides of my mouth are the absolute worst and i find that it gets so dry and flaky and gross throughout the day so ive started to layer my moisturiser upon the morning, because i havnt gone out to get myself a new moisturiser, and my normal ones just dont seem to cut it. So ive been using my normal day moisturiser, which at the moment is my Clinique Youth Surge moisturiser which i apply all over my face and then on the area on the sides of my mouth, i put a little of my night cream which is a Jurlique one i never really used once i bought it and then i layer a bit more Clinique youth surge on top. Its a good remedy for now and keeps my skin moisturised all day but im in the search for something super mositurising (perhaps even a balm type) cream for night and something else for the day.. hmmm this is going to take me forever, any suggestions will be much appreciated :) Youth surge is my most favourite moisturiser of all time and  i know its an age decelerating moisturiser but i figure prevention is a good theory to it, but its just so creamy and feels like such a good treat for your skin everyday- i just wish it would bust my extra dry patches in winter.. grrr !

My hands tend to turn all old wrinkly granny like during the winter so at the moment ive been using Doves new visible beauty hand cream because it sits on my coffee table and i just use it everytime i walk past. Judging by the packaging i thought it would smell like coconuts but its actually really refreshing and smells like cucumbers which still amazes me even though ive used it a billion times lol.. Its a really nice formula that doesnt leave residue or doesnt leave my hands feeling oily after which i really like. In my handbag i carry Garniers hand cocoon which sinks in fast, its not the lightest formula ive used but it leaves no residue which is my number one hand moisturiser must. It smells really good and its a refreshing scent as well and a little goes a long way. I think ive used two tubes in a year so im pretty happy with that.

For the rest of my body, arms and legs, etc, i tend to reach for body butters all the time. Last winter i used Palmers Coconut Milk Body Butter which is soo moisturising and i loved it because it smelt like summer. I finished off the remains of it at teh beginning of the year but its a bit overwhelming for a repurchase. Im feeling lighter products this winter and ive been reaching for my Garnier 7 day intensive moisturiser. This was one of those "i have to get this because i saw it on tv products" lol. It is probably the best body moisturiser ive used in forever. It has immediate results where you can feel your skin feel softer as soon as you use it and after a week of using it, the dryness and roughness that comes around during winter was so much less noticeable and id defrinately recommend this to everyone. Not only for use in winter but all year round- definately on my repurchase list !

Because ive been blowing my nose so much, ive had red nose syndrome going on and no matter how much makeup is there to cover it, it keeps getting rubbed off, so a little suggestion is an extra soft 3ply tissue !! lol.. But i did buy the cutest little pack of tissues from target the other day and theyre called, "tissues for your sniffle issues" haha awwww !

Even though i moisturise my hands alot more often in winter, i bought a cuticle cream recently which helps with your standard cuticle issues but also smooths down all the little rough bits of skin around your nail caused by standard filing and the harshness of nailpolish remover and if your a nail biter, this just smooths everything out and makes your nails look prettier. I use the Burts Bees Lemon Butter cuticle cream but anything you can get your hands on will do..

Thats all for now,
im happy to be back !

I hope you enjoyed my post, will speak to you soon !!

Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer

Hey guys,

Finallly finally finallyyyy i got my hands on this little baby and i am seriously in love. The Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer lives up to its claim and is heavy duty and will hide just about anything. One little dab of this product is all it takes to hide blemishes or scars or anything that needs to be covered and once it is set with a powder, wherever it is placed, it will not budge !

I like to prime my face and then apply foundation before my concealer so as soon as i dab it on my problem areas its almost as if it has 10 times the coverage of any concealer ive ever bought before. Bad news is for those of us in Australia, i dont think theres anywhere that we can purchase it from here so head online and get your orders in ! This product is so easily blended, its waterproof and doesnt move from wher it should be once its been set- whats not to love.

I find its a bit heavy for everyday but perfect for a night out or if your desperate to hide up anything- possibly tatooss from parents haha

Let me know if youve tried this or tell me your favourite concealers that actually cover amazingly !
